Free Comic Book Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 7 at Speeding Bullet Comics, 614 N Porter Ave. in Norman!
Get free comics featuring Supergirl, Captain America and more! Meet actors and celebrate the upcoming release of the local film “Electric Nostalgia”!
Actor Stephen Goodman will join Speeding Bullet Comics’ Free Comic Book Day 2016! He’ll be promoting the film “Electric Nostalgia” with free stickers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.! Stop by and ask Stephen about the local film scene!
Actress Alissa Ford will be on hand portraying a super terrific character and visiting with kids! You can ask her about her superheroic background or just get a picture taken to commemorate Free Comic Book Day! Some fans may know Alissa from her appearance in the award-winning Kyle Roberts film “Heroes of the Realm,” co-written by Speeding Bullet’s own Matthew Price.
Writer/artist S.A. McClung of Displacements: Oasis will be on hand at Speeding Bullet Comics on Free Comic Book Day doing sketches and selling his comic from 10 a.m. until around 4 p.m.! S.A. is a great guest and we’re glad to welcome him back this year to Free Comic Book Day at Speeding Bullet Comics!
Writer/artist Don Rosencrans will help us close out Free Comic Book Day at Speeding Bullet Comics! Don will appear from 5-7 p.m. to sketch and sign copies of his comic Welcome to Ralton from Literati Press as well issues of Literati Presents! The trade paperback of “Welcome to Ralton” is available now, as is “Welcome to Ralton” #5, which features a backup story by Don and Speeding Bullet’s Matthew Price!
Those 12 and under who come to Free Comic Book Day at Speeding Bullet Comics in costume will have a chance to win a special prize package, sponsored by DK and LEGO! We want to see how creative and fun Oklahoma kids can be!
