Speeding Bullet Comics will host writer/artist Cari Lee Landrum from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20!

Landrum is the writer/artist of the graphic novel “Zenny and the Earthlings.”

In the book, Zurenbak the robot alien king wants to rule over the entire universe, destroying everything in his path. His son Zenaton doesn’t agree with his father’s methods and only wants peace in that galaxy.

When Zenaton accidentally falls to earth, he is mistaken for a backpack and is taken to a human school.

Can Zenaton get through school without being discovered and can he save earth from his father?

“Really, it’s a comedy about four friends who get caught up in a wild adventure of waffles and murder. It’s about how self-identity does not make the person, but their attitude towards themselves and others does. It’s about many things, but nothing terribly serious, because the world is already too serious. So, let’s have some fun and enjoy some satire.”
