Free Comic Book Day is held annually on the first Saturday in May.
Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is the biggest event in the comic book industry—a single day when participating comic book specialty shops give away selected comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops! Speeding Bullet Comics, 614 N. Porter Ave. in Norman, OK, will give away 5 selected free comics per customer throughout the day.
The store will also welcome special guests: comic-book creators Michael Adams (”Kung-Fu Legume”), Mario Wytch (”Sister Powers”) and Breyden Boyd (Shape-Man)!
Plus, get your picture taken with Superman on Saturday morning!

Free Comic Book Day is a worldwide event in which participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away selected comic books absolutely free to visiting patrons.

In connection with the Pioneer Library, Speeding Bullet Comics will host a book discussion at 6 p.m. April 17.

This book club session will focus on the graphic novel “Fire Power: Prelude” by Robert Kirkman and Chris Samnee.
