We’ve had some unusual challenges in 2021, and how we are approaching Free Comic Book Day this year is no exception.

This Saturday, we are going to celebrate Free Comic Book Day, but due to the COVID variant tearing through Oklahoma, we are going to attempt to handle giving away the free comics outside, while saving the store interior for those who want to shop. When you arrive to Speeding Bullet, please wait outside for your free comics. We will give one package of three free comics to each visitor. Then, only if you wish to shop, proceed indoors.

We will be asking customers to mask up when shopping inside due to the Delta variant surge in Oklahoma. We may have to limit the number of people in the store at any one time on Saturday. And please be careful as you park, as Porter Ave. around the store continues to be a work in progress. Despite our many challenges, we love bringing you comic books!

We feel in these challenging times, people need comic books more than ever. We want to bring you your comics in a safe and fun way, and to continue to do so for many years.
