Window art auction on Aug. 29!

You could win iconic art from the windows of Speeding Bullet Comics!

We are hosting an art auction throughout August 2026 to sell pieces that have hung in the shop’s windows for decades as we prepare for newly designed window displays. Proceeds benefit three local neighborhood schools: Jefferson Elementary, Wilson Elementary, and Longfellow Middle School.

We will host a live auction at 5 p.m. Saturday, August 29, where we will have our final auctions and debut the new art for the windows! Can you guess what will be represented?

The silent portion of the auction is currently underway at the shop. Customers can visit the store at 614 N. Porter Ave. in Norman and speak directly with Dan or staff to place preliminary silent bids.

Items up for bid include original window art by Kevin Stark (of the Toy and Action Figure Museum) based on Amazing Spider-Man #301, a piece commemorating the store’s exclusive “Josie” cover by Jessica Garvey, and promotional signage from the 2010 historic in-store creator signing with James Robinson and Sterling Gates!
