Best-selling graphic novels of 2009
It always helps to have a movie. While Stephen King took the top spot at Speeding Bullet in 2009 in graphic novel sales, Alan Moore and “Watchmen” placed the hardcover and softcover formats into our top 25. Also from Alan Moore, the latest “League of Extraordinary Gentlemen” hit the charts at No. 2. Three “Scott Pilgrim” trades in the top 25 bode well for the Oni project, set to become a motion picture in the near future.
