Comic-Con Roundup
As always, Comic-Con International last week delivered a lot of great comic moments! As reported by Matt on his Nerdage blog, here are some of the highlights!
SPIDER-MAN UNMASKED A Comic-Con “fan” steps up to the microphone in a Spider-Man costume before revealing his face to the crowd at the Hall H panel for “The Amazing Spider-Man,” the Marc Webb-directed reboot of the Spider-Man film set for release next June. Watch the video!
VAUGHAN RETURNS The biggest announcement was that Brian K. Vaughan (”Y: The Last Man,” “Ex Machina”) will return to monthly comics with “Saga” from Image Comics. “Saga” will be a sci-fi series about “the life and times of a family fighting to survive a never-ending war.”
OKIES IN COMICS Tulsa artist Dustin Evans was part of the Conan O’Brien exhibit at the con! Sterling Gates was also in attendance to talk up “Hawk and Dove” and “Flashpoint: Kid Flash Lost.”
