Sterling Gates returns to Speeding Bullet!
Sterling Gates is back!
The “Superman: Last Stand on New Krypton” writer, Oklahoma native, and former Speeding Bullet Comics employee will be at Speeding Bullet from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on June 15 to sign copies of “The Posthuman Project” No. 0, the prequel comic book for the upcoming independent film.

That’s not the only film Gates has been involved with; he worked with screenwriter David Goyer on an online comic tie-in to “Man of Steel.”
Speeding Bullet will have copies of Gates’ Superman work, including “War of the Supermen” and “Last Stand on New Krypton” for Gates to sign as well.”
The Posthuman Project” comic and movie were written by Gates, working with Speeding Bullet Comics’ own Matt Price. For now, the only way to get the official prequel comic is at Speeding Bullet - be among the first to see the origins of the group!
Find out more about the team behind the film! The comic was drawn by Mario Wytch, lettered by the Eisner-nominated letterer Deron Bennett, and has a cover by Javier Saltares (”Ghost Rider”). Matt Saltares provides the cover colors, and Jerry Bennett (”Nadir’s Zenith”) provides a pin-up of the Posthuman characters.
The official trailer for “The Posthuman Project,” directed by Kyle Roberts and filmed in Oklahoma, was released on Friday.
“The Posthuman Project” is about teenagers who receive a genetic boost of super abilities.
The film stars Kyle Whalen, Lindsay Sawyer, Alex Harris, Collin Place, Josh Bonzie and Rett Terrell.
