Matt and John Yuan are comic creators, writers, artists, and actors who work extensively in both comics and television.
Fans may recognize them from appearances in shows and films like Observe and Report, Arrested Development, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., where they played the Chang brothers in the Marvel series.
The twins began self-publishing creator-owned comic books in 2012 and created titles including Serving Supes, Inspector Oh, Love Town, and more!
The brothers also serve as Deputy Publishers for 1First Comics, where they help to continue the legacy of one of indie comics’ longest-tenured publishers.

We are bringing Oklahoma comic creator Don Rosencrans and Oklahoma poet Joshua Walker to the shop as part of our 28th anniversary celebration on June 13! Speeding Bullet officially began on June 8, 1998, following in the footsteps of the previous Millennium Books and Archives Norman.

In connection with the Pioneer Library, Speeding Bullet Comics will host a book club discussion at 6 p.m. May 21.

This month’s book is “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” from Tom King and Bilquis Evely.

“Micah Nguyen is a normal high school student with abnormal problems,” Rosencrans said. “After losing his parents in an accident as a small child, he was adopted by a local police officer who worked the scene.”
But all is not as it seems for young Micah.
“Not too long after, he was whisked away to the Dreamscape: a surreal place where spirits go when they sleep, and eventually on a permanent basis when they pass on,” Rosencrans said.
Now, Micah, aided by his pet rabbit Hops, has become the protector of the Dreamscape. But secrets from his past loom.

The series will examine their battles both in the air and on the ground as they move from civilian flight instructors during the Battle of Moscow, to fighter pilots during the Battle of Stalingrad, to free hunting aces at the Battle of Kursk.

Also the same weekend is the Weekend of Local, from July 11-13. The City of Norman, in partnership with VisitNorman and the Norman Chamber of Commerce, encourages residents to shop and dine at local businesses. Speeding Bullet Comics will have some specials featuring local and regional authors for those who stop in over the weekend.

We are bringing back Oklahoma comics creators Don Rosencrans and S.A. McClung to sign their new comic books as part of our 27th anniversary celebration on June 28! Speeding Bullet officially began on June 8, 1998, following in the footsteps of the previous Millennium Books and Archives Norman.

Don and S.A. will sign from noon-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 to help us celebrate 27 years of the store!

Free Comic Book Day is held annually on the first Saturday in May.
Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is the biggest event in the comic book industry—a single day when participating comic book specialty shops give away selected comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops!
